Ah Technology...

I have officially entered the real world. Yes, I finally got a new laptop! Now, how cool is this? Laying in bed, writing in my blog. Wow. It actually has this card installed with wireless, so I can be "virtually" anywhere, and be online. Okay, I will admit, I am really impressed with the advances we have made as humans. Think about it. We have come from the wheel, to electricity, to the telephone, to vinyl records, to VHS, cell phone, to CDs, to wireless (communications in "thin air")...Tell me that doesn't just freak you out just a LITTLE!? It is so awesome.

Anyway, things are going great being married to my best friend. He still ceases to amaze me. I can be so bitchy sometimes, yet he still shows me everyday how much he loves me. Everyday I feel like this is the best day of my life. Who needs to win the lottery, when you have everything you ever wanted right in front of you?????

The wine thing is going good... We occasionally check the PH levels, and the brix. But the Merlot and the Cab/Sauv are just doing "Their THING" in the barrels. It tastes amazing. I think I have underestimated our capabilities. :) Next year, we will be getting loads more, and the winery will come shortly there after. I figure, in about 2 years I will be an official "winemaker", as opposed to real estate agent/hobby winemaker........ Hallelujah!!

It's insane to me when I look back over the past 17 years how drastically different I am. I don't think I am even the same person. At times I feel like I have been transformed. I guess that is what life is supposed to be. A series of ups, downs, and mistakes until you get it right. I know I am sailing smooth right now. Fully aware that at any moment there could be a storm that I may have to face. But oddly enough I feel as though I am equiped to weather any storm now. Take me back to 2005, there is no way I could. Life Keeps Going On - LIVE it

Update on my life. The kids are doing great. Man, we are so blessed to have such amazing adults. Jesse has moved to Missouri with Hannah to pursue a new career. Wade is busy being a father to my amazing grandchild. Gabby is back to school to be a nurse practitioner. Kaelan is still going to Spokane Community for a Criminal Justice degree. Emily is still at Whitworth College looking at getting into the psychological aspect of Criminal Justice. And Noah is finding his way still, but making it work in Spokane. All out of the house and living on their own without our help. Sometimes that is the greatest accomplishment in this day and age. I'm doing well with the Mortgage gig. I've never worked harder in my life, but I love it and the money is stupid. Dan and I are finding a new love of RVing. Every weekend we are either planning or going. I love spending time with him. Next Chapter!

Well I did it! I passed my mortgage exam and am now waiting for an offer letter so I can resign from media finally. The feeling I have is a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I no longer have to work for an industry that is treading water. That is exactly how I have been feeling the past year. Not like I am in a boat, rowing toward greatness. Literally in the water, exhausted from swimming, about to drown. Everyone that has half a brain has already or is getting out of the water. It's time. I am ready. Bring on the next chapter in the "Book of Michele"! New beginnings are scary, but Dan needs me back. My mental state has been horrible, and he needs ME back. Great things ahead!
