So we got sneak away last weekend for a couple days with no kids. It really was like a breath of fresh air for me. I've come to the conclusion that I need some zen/peace/whatever in my life. So I've decided to start being a little self serving for a few minutes a day. There really is too much noise in my life right now. Not only physical noise, but mental noise. My mind needs silence occationally to keep functioning properly. How I am going to accomplish this relatively small feat is up in the air still. But if I want to be productive, I have to find a way. Life Keeps Going On - LIVE it

Update on my life. The kids are doing great. Man, we are so blessed to have such amazing adults. Jesse has moved to Missouri with Hannah to pursue a new career. Wade is busy being a father to my amazing grandchild. Gabby is back to school to be a nurse practitioner. Kaelan is still going to Spokane Community for a Criminal Justice degree. Emily is still at Whitworth College looking at getting into the psychological aspect of Criminal Justice. And Noah is finding his way still, but making it work in Spokane. All out of the house and living on their own without our help. Sometimes that is the greatest accomplishment in this day and age. I'm doing well with the Mortgage gig. I've never worked harder in my life, but I love it and the money is stupid. Dan and I are finding a new love of RVing. Every weekend we are either planning or going. I love spending time with him. Arcane

I would imagine one could describe me as arcane. For those of you who don't know what that means, look it up. Very few people 'get' me. Its a good thing, don't get me wrong. I enjoy feeling like the odd one out. Its empowering! I haven't been as faithful in my writing, and will try to get back up to speed. There have been a few things on my mind, and I lack the willpower to actually write my thoughts down. Which in turn leads to regret, and guilt. So upward and onward...Live and learn, and keep trying to kick my bad habits. I guess writing, like an unstable atom is hard to understand. The rules are open to interpretation and the formula is followed because of simple, traditional physics. But to make it special, to lift it to the level of wonder, takes something else. An understanding that goes beyond the norm. And so I search for it, hoping my mind will open. And like the theory of relativity, I will get it.
